Common kelp (also known as Golden kelp) adds bold splashes of colour to the rocky reef at Port Noarlunga, South Australia.  It also has immense habitat value, providing homes for sea snails, crustaceans, fishes and many other creatures.

This photograph was taken at Port Noarlunga, South Australia.
