Despite the massive global upheaval caused by COVID-19, Force of Nature artists have kept busy, working on new designs, artwork and products inspired by the natural world. Since exhibiting with her husband Dan Monceaux in the two-person exhibition River to Reef, Emma Monceaux has continued to extend her various nature-inspired glass plate series. Many of these new works can now be seen on this website.
A small selection of Emma’s kiln-formed glass plates is also now available to view and purchase at the Onkaparinga Arts Art Shop. Housed under the same roof as a public gallery, the building is chock full of original works by South Australian artists. Works range from small wearable artworks, gift cards and jewellery to painted and sculptural works suitable for hanging.

Emma’s self-standing sculptural glass artwork Wave 1 also features in the annual Onkaparinga Surf Art Exhibition, which will be showing until 1 February 2021. Emma’s glass plate selection on sale in the Art Shop also appears in the slideshow below.

The Onkaparinga Arts gallery and shop are staffed by a combination of City of Onkaparinga employees and volunteers, some of which are also exhibiting artists so feel free to ask them about the work when you visit. The gallery is located at 22 Gawler Street, Port Noarlunga, South Australia and is open the following days and hours:
